This course offers a thorough exploration of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms in India, with primary focus on arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996. It covers both domestic and international commercial arbitration from a practitioner's perspective.

Students will learn the complete arbitration lifecycle - from drafting effective arbitration clauses to enforcement of awards. The course covers recent amendments, Supreme Court jurisprudence on arbitrability, and practical aspects of conducting arbitration proceedings.

Additional modules on mediation, conciliation, and negotiation provide a well-rounded understanding of ADR. The course includes mock arbitration exercises and drafting workshops for practical skill development.
